How to Make Protein Coffee: Easily get 20g of protein in your regular cup!
if you are looking to increase your daily protein intake, and also love coffee. You are like me.
based on the average American diet, protein intake tends to be low and experts recommend a determined amount of protein to be consumed daily to ensure cognitive, metabolic and overall health.
In case you are also trying to lose weight, a good way to easily achieve your goals is by adding more protein to your meals.
For me, a coffee fan, do this simple trick to increase my protein intake, improve my health, and feel more full for more time during the day is a win-win.
There are two simple ways to do this, either by using instant coffee or buying your regular coffee.
If you want to avoid the sugar, ask your coffee with stevie, or sugar-free options. I usually ask for no classic syrup and 1 pump of sugar free vanilla at Starbucks and I love it!
Instant Protein coffee

its just as simple as picking your favorite instant coffee, Nescafe is really good.
following the instructions to make your coffee as usual that most of the times is something around 1 teaspoon to 6-8 oz of hot water. But how bitter you prefer your coffee is the right ratio. More water, less bitter.
After that, instead of your regular creamer, add your protein shake, which is already prepared, like the Premier Protein Shake.
Alternatively, you can buy the protein powder version, make the protein shake on the side and mix it with your instant coffee. Use desired milk, I like to use 1% but you can also use any dairy-free option if preferred.
If you are trying to lose weight, almond milk is a low calorie option to use.
Buying your regular coffee, but turning into Protein Coffee.

Ask for your regular coffee as usual, but without creamer and sweetner. Since the protein we are gonna mix it with is already sweetened.
Then add your protein shake to your coffee.
This option is so easy and practical to do when you are on the go! This adds 20-30 grams of protein to your regular coffee making it a good supplement to achieve protein intake goals while also enjoying your coffee treat.
You can also change the flavors of your protein shakes to try how they taste with your coffee. I personally preferend the vanilla one and it taste just like you were adding a vanilla syrup!
